I was fit to give up on this game entirely when I found out there's a part where gunk sprays over the screen and obscures the view :( Other than that, here are some other highs and lows of the global testpunch!

43 final fantasy explorers - circle pad trouble, online co-op with joseph and nova

At this point Joseph was EL 329 Red Mage, Nova was EL 184 Samurai and I was EL 138 Monk. Joe decided to try out the Red Mage class.

It's another of these cool Pullblox-like puzzle stages. Some of the red salmon coins are hidden on high ground.

52 - epic dumpster bear - 5-3 you're not allowed to say "balls" on miiverse

Level 5-3 is known as "Temple Dive". It's a tower style climbing stage. I wonder if it takes place in a really big pagoda?

51 epic dumpster bear - 5-a pushy puzzle

Puzzle stages are back! Yay! I wonder why they were missing from the last world? Maybe the evil corporation doesn't like puzzles so they got rid of them.

50 epic dumpster bear 5-2 - portal-like portals

Level 5-2 is known as "Bear Portals". True to its name, it's partly about warping through portals.

49 epic dumpster bear - 5-1 lush eastern temple challenge

I'm starting a new world called Mountain Temple! Level 5-1 is known as Pushy Platforms.

48 epic dumpster bear - 4-7 crumbling the rock giant boss

Dear Readers,

Boss time! The boss of world 4 is a rock giant. Its size is pretty intimidating! Pretty agile too!

47 epic dumpster bear - 4-6 between fireballs and swinging axes

Dear Readers,

Level 4-6 is known as "Forest Castle". For a castle stage, there isn't a whole lot of castle here. Maybe the corporation destroyed most of it too with all their freaking axes.

46 epic dumpster bear - 4-y auto-scroller

Dear Readers,

Level 4-Y is known as "Auto Bear". It's an auto scrolling stage. Nothing to do with Dumpster Bear driving a monster truck unfortunately.

45 epic dumpster bear - 4-5 axing too much

Level 4-5 is known as "Bear Bombs". Nice comeback for power ups in this world :)

44 epic dumpster bear - 4-4 too many axes and flamethrowers

Level 4-4 is known as "Fire Axe Challenge". Fire? Check. Axes? Check. Challenge? Check!

Joseph, Nova and I made our grand return to Amostra after not having played together since last summer! Terra joined in too after a while.

Level 4-3 is known as "Gassy Bear". In this level you get a farting power up! It works as a double jump :)

Dumpster Desert almost conquered! Only thing left is the Sand Worm boss!

While researching for instructions and strategies for this version of the game, I came across harddrop.com's wiki. It's pretty cool and told me what the items do :)

34 epic dumpster bear - 3-5 platform edge jumping

Level 3-5 is known as Dumpster Sweat. Doesn't sound very pleasant! Imagine dumpsters in the desert... Ugh!

6 altered beast - finally made it to the fifth round!

Since last time I've been having lots of trouble on the third round and couldn't get past for a long time. Then I finally did and passed the fourth round too!

6 terraria - the goblin army and the eater of worlds, online coop with mop it up

Been a while since this session! Over a month. I'd better write about it now as it was pretty eventful. Mop it up and I took on a boss in this session!

Dear Readers,

This game had a great demo and encouraged me to go ahead and buy a physical copy of the game! The game loads super fast and you can select regular 1 player Marathon Tetris from the title screen and jump right in to a game! That's the way to do it :)
