The scene shifted to a place with light and organ music. I was now in sanctuary! I laid on one of the pews and I was surrounded by family, friends and neighbours. I laid there with my eyes closed.

As we were putting it all together, it didn't seem to make a lot of sense. I said that maybe this particular elevator was for loading things for the map room and the other ones were for avoiding the stairs... but even then... and Gregg then said none of this made any sense.

I said "Going up!" on the 4th elevator this time and we ascended to the next floor, where we saw yet another elevator in front of us.

Gregg and I left the newspaper room and reached elevator number 4. The music stopped again. So many elevators...

World 1-A has lots of pipes and some good opportunities for milking coins.

Dear Readers,

This is the first water level and the one that kept coming up in StreetPasses when it was more active. I wasn't rushing through the water this time though, thankfully.

16 new super mario bros. 2 - world 1-4 coin score: 2,926

Dear Readers,

This is one of the first mushroom mountain levels. Some gold rings provide a nice chance to get a bunch of coins, though it is a fleeting thing.

15 new super mario bros. 2 - world 1-cannon coin score: 190

Dear Readers,

I forgot how fun the little cannon levels were! They're auto scrolling and they play a nice remix of the Super Mario Bros. 1 regular level theme. They all have a coin high score record too.

14 new super mario bros. 2 - world 1-tower coin score: 685

Dear Readers,

It was difficult to get any large amounts of coins at all in this stage. The enemies were all dry and brittle and the coins were mostly in mixed clusters. I did find a spawner though.

13 new super mario bros. 2 - w1-3 coin score: 1,011

The first Super Leaf level for this game! Lots of trees and coins put up high. Not the most friendly for having a Gold Flower.

12 new super mario bros. 2 - w1-2: 7,224 coins my highest score, moving on

Dear Readers,

7,224 coins is my new score for this level. I'm going to leave it at that too. At least for now.

1 galaxian - almost 10,000 points on atari 2600 version

Dear Readers,

You can't spend all your time in Possum Springs you know! Sometimes you're on a bus that's stuck in a traffic jam for half an hour. Perfect time to play some Atari portable games!
