Dear Readers,
Played a full session of Sonic 1 with all emeralds again, but this time on one of those ATGames portable devices connected to a TV.
This meant the sound was weird and played slower but the game was still playable and fun. The special stages in particular were more manageable because of the slower rotation.
I got the sixth emerald sometime during the Star Light Zone.
When the final cutscene with the emeralds sprouting extra flowers plays, the slower speed allowed me to savour it for that little bit longer, so that was nice :)
Also, now I know I can complete the game fully without having the spin dash to make life easier!
