153 zelda breath of the wild - scoopin' balls in daka tuss shrine

Dear Readers,

I glided north from Kakariko Village into the Lanayru Wetlands. There was a shrine down there that always stuck out and now I finally decided to check it out. It was called Daka Tuss Shrine and "Sunken Scoop" was the name of its trial. By gliding right to it I didn't have to deal with all the Lizalfos around!

On entering I saw a caged door, a pool with some balls floating in it and a bowl behind fencing. At the bottom of the pool was a metal scooper I was able to magnetise and scoop up a ball to toss into the bowl behind the fence to make the caged door open.

In the next room there was another pool with balls floating in it and another bowl with a fence around it too, but it was also covered at the top. There was also a big switch at the bottom of this pool. I had to bring the scooping bowl from the other room in here, scoop up a ball, drop it on the fence above the bowl and drop the scooper on the big switch. The fence above the bowl opened, the ball dropped into the bowl and that made all the water drain. The way to the monk was now open.

#254 Silver Longsword

The water drained from the pool in the previous room too, revealing a doorway into a small room with a chest which had this in it. Sneaky!
