This is a nice game to play on a warm summer day when you don't want to move or concentrate too much! It's about being a frog jumping and catching flies, but it's pretty different to Frogs And Flies.
For one thing it's very easy on the eyes. What beautiful background graphics this Atari 2600 game has! A vast body of water with lily pads and a vast blue sky with scattered clouds stretching into the distance. The title screen with the big smiling froggy face is cute too :)
Unlike Frogs and Flies, you don't just jump, you can shuffle left and right as well. Your tongue goes out diagonally as well, kind of like Pyoro. There are many different kinds of flies. I was happy enough just jumping around gobbling every little moving thing that appeared on the screen.
I played a good long time, just enjoying the experience. It was kinda passive but also nice and pleasant in this warm weather. I played it around this time last year and am updating the blog to post about it now. I'm not sure what's at stake but I eventually got a game over with a score of 512 points. It's a nice tidy number when you think in terms of memory :)
