Dear Readers,
Once again I engaged in battle with Asgore. However, we were interrupted before we could start!
It was Toriel! She cast Asgore aside just like she did with Flowey at the beginning of the game! Before he could brandish his weapon, her flame appeared and knocked him off to one side! "What a miserable creature, torturing such a poor, innocent, youth" she said, just like she did back then.
Toriel told me she thought she would let me make my journey alone, but she couldn't stop worrying about me. She said my journey must've been so treacherous and ultimately would've burdened me with a horrible choice, that being in order to leave this place, I would've had to take the life of another person. I would've had to defeat Asgore. She said she realised she couldn't allow that. She said it wasn't right to sacrifice someone simply to let someone leave this place. She said let's suspend this battle. She said as terrible as Asgore was, he deserved mercy too.
Asgore was delighted to see Toriel. He said she came back! She snapped back at him, calling him Dreemurr and a pathetic whelp. Yowch... He had a very sad and stung expression on his face when she said that. She said if he really wanted to free their kind, he could've gone through the barrier after he got just one soul, taken six souls from the humans, and then come back and freed everyone peacefully. She said that instead of doing that, he made everyone live in despair, because he would rather wait here, meekly hoping that another human would never come.
Asgore took every criticism on the chin and had a pained regretful expression on his face. He said she was right, he was a miserable creature. He then asked her hopefully if they could at least be friends again. She sighed and said NO. He had tears streaming down his face at this point! Aw!
Suddenly, Undyne showed up! She ordered everyone to stop fighting! Everyone had to make friends or she was gonna... then she stopped and looked at Toriel, who said hello to her. She asked if Undyne was my friend and it was nice to meet her. With a big grin Undyne said yeah it was nice to meet her too!
Undyne then ran up to Asgore and asked him if Toriel was his ex. She said that was rough. I'm surprised she and Toriel didn't know each other...
Suddenly, Alphys showed up as well! She didn't want anyone to hurt one another either! It was also her first time meeting Toriel. Alphys looked at me and was amazed at there being two of them. She ran up to Undyne and stood beside her.
Then Papyrus suddenly showed up! He also said no one was to fight! He said if someone was gonna fight, then he would be forced to... ask Undyne for help! It also appeared to be his first time meeting Toriel. He addressed her as "Your majesty" but then whispered to me, asking if Asgore had shaved and cloned himself! Haha!
Then Sans slipped in from the side and was like what's up! Toriel recognised his voice and ran over to him. They said hello, saying they recognised each others' voices. Alphys, Undyne and Asgore looked wide eyed at them! After introductions, Toriel recognised Papyrus as Sans' brother and there were more introductions. Papyrus blushed and said he couldn't believe Asgore's clone knew who he was! He said this was the best day of his life!
Toriel started telling him a joke, asking what does a skeleton tile his roof with? Papyrus asked if it was snow-proof roof tiles and she said no and that it was SHIN-gles! Papyrus changed his mind and said this was the worst day of his life!
Asgore was in tears again. Undyne told him it was gonna be ok! There were plenty of fish in the sea! Alphys said yeah! And that sometimes you had to stop going after furry boss monsters and just get to know a really cute fish! After a pause, she said it was a metaphor. Undyne said she thought it was a good analogy.
Just then, Mettaton's leg came in from stage left! He told Undyne and Alphys to just smooch already as the audience was dying for some romantic action! Undyne told him to shut up! The nerve of that guy! She asked Alphys if she was right and Alphys paused before saying no, he was right. Alphys' expression went all crazy and she yelled "LET'S DO IT!" to which Undyne said not to hold anything back!
Undyne and Alphys were just about to smooch when Toriel jumped in between them and said "Not in front of the human!"
Alphys said sorry as she got a bit carried away there! Papyrus and Sans then joined the others in a neat little line that looked a little too neat...
Toriel said to me that it seemed as if I had to stay here for a while. She said to look at all the great friends I had made though! She said she thinks I'll be happy here! Everyone was smiling now, even Asgore!
After a pause, Alphys said to Papyrus that he called everyone here, right? Besides Toriel of course. She asked him if she got here before him, how did he know how to call everybody?
Papyrus answered "Let's just say...
and the music stopped, before he finished, saying:
"...a tiny flower helped me."
Alphys said in a trembly voice "A tiny... flower?"
Suddenly a huge vine went through all six of them, grabbing hold of all of them! Then, Flowey appeared with his grinning face, calling everyone idiots. DUN DUN DUUUUN!
