Dear Readers,
We all went to the ** Game Shop ** where we met Bishop. He welcomed me, saying that thing I asked for wasn't in yet.
Dear Readers,
We all went to the ** Game Shop ** where we met Bishop. He welcomed me, saying that thing I asked for wasn't in yet.
Dear Readers,
Kamui, Jeane and I then went to the ** Convenience Store ** It was a good-sized store with spacious parking as well. I said it was just some convenience store. Kamui said there was an underground dungeon here!
Dear Readers,
I went to the **BBQ Restaurant** with Akari, Kamui and Jeane. It looked a lot like the Nightmare Burger diner.
Dear Readers,
After meeting with Kamui, eating a burger and establishing that Jeane was a wisecracking anime cat not to be messed with, we all took to the road on my motorbike.
Dear Readers,
I arrived at the famous Nightmare Burger, a roadside diner that looked pretty nice on the outside and a fine looking place to stop for a character in a road movie. My character wasn't really a fan of eating out, but was willing to check it out anyway.
Dear Readers,
On The Road in green screen visual novel land, I continued talking with Bruno San Marino and Red Ribbon, who had just introduced themselves.
Dear Readers,
Now it was time for Travis Strikes BACK: No More Heroes in ancient computer with black and green graphics and scanlines! I was looking forward to this so much :)
Dear Readers,
With the motorbike, I was able to experience the story of my journey to collect the Death Balls. This was the first of the visual novel segments presented in ancient computer black and green graphics :) I never had a computer like this, but I saw one of my teachers use one with graphics like that in primary school.
Dear Readers,
The next article in the magazine archive was the review of Electric Thunder Tiger II. Again, I love the presentation of the fictional game magazine here :)
Dear Readers,
The next thing to check out in the trailer was the archive of magazine articles! This was all from "Death Drive Magazine" and it was just like looking up PDFs of old game magazines. I'm delighted to see this :)
Dear Readers,
Next thing to check out in the trailer were the faxes. Kinda strange but why not. I had one fax to look at...
Dear Readers,
Now for more hanging out in my trailer. I checked out my sweet PC, which has a triple monitor setup! Here I could check out the t-shirt shop and the Ramen Blog.
Dear Readers,
Now that I had access to my trailer hub, I decided to hang out here for a while and check things out. A very chilled out version of the NMH theme played here with lovely bluesy guitar instrumentation that sounds like the guitar from Sheryl Crow's song All I Wanna Do. There was also the outdoor night sounds of crickets chirping and the fire crackling.
Dear Readers,
After beating the first game, it showed Badman and I warping out. Next it showed some kind of VHS quality footage of me at a table, talking about stuff.
Dear Readers,
I fought Electro Triple Star again and beat him this time! Still a fight that drained a lot of my health though.
Dear Readers,
I took an elevator to a place where Electro Triple Star was waiting for me.
Dear Readers,
I moved on to an area that was a long narrow street of buildings that had a big building at the end with a shiny electric orb at the top of it.
Dear Readers,
After the Sheepman miniboss, it was out of the factory and nighttime. The music had a nighttime chill vibe added to the BGM.
Dear Readers,
I continued plowing through a mixture of enemies seen before before I got another Skill Chip. This was the Psycho Chip.
Dear Readers,
I decided to start from the start. I choose mild difficulty and away I went into the came console thingy with Badman, staring with a game called Electric Thunder Tiger II.
Dear Readers,
Credits time! This was presented through the perspective of the quadcopter that I was flying!
Dear Readers,
Back in the hole, everyone from the campfire gathered around the newly built massive Catapult. Mira and I had it ready and told everyone to use it one at a time.
Dear Readers,
The Trash King stood among the rubble of Raccoon HQ, telling us we ruined everything. He let out a sigh, saying maybe Raccoons couldn't cut it in Donut County after all.
Dear Readers,
Back at the balloon, Mira and Possum were surrounded by quadcopters with searchlights! She asked him if he had a bazooka! He said no, but he could check the dark web when we got back.
Dear Readers,
Sirens and sprinklers were going off at the Raccoon HQ and the Trash King wanted to talk to me, so I deployed another hole.
Dear Readers,
Back in the Raccoon HQ hallway, bunnies were running all over the place. The biology lab was now just a big hole inside. Haha :) I deployed another hole!
Dear Readers,
I reached the Biology Lab with the hole. This was the next place to mess up.
