I went back in time to the big decision with Rosch and I told him I'd join his brigade. He was delighted to hear :) (honestly though I had no other way to progress right now but I'll stay quiet about that!)
The scene switched to a man holding an audience in Noah Square named General Hugo. He often held events like this when the Prophet Noah had a message to convey.
His message was all symbolic. Our people of Alistel were the purifying snow to the sand desert, the cause of which supposedly was Granorg. Yup... that's the symbolism of the war against them, this crusade. General Hugo was a good speaker and won the hearts of the crowd. So yeah...
I've already seen how evil Queen Protea of Granorg was, but still, this cultish rally felt pretty eerie...
The scene switched to General Raul's office. He was watching the rally and General Hugo's theatrics. He muttered that there were no doubt going to be many enlisting, but he seemed apprehensive at the same time. Rosch then knocked on his door.
Rosch had the news about me joining his brigade. There was some exposition about Heiss and Special Intelligence. The brigade was also gonna be sent out on a mission very soon, even though it was mostly made up of fresh enlisted civilians... That sounds kinda worrying, especially with the future vision of me standing over Rosch's dead body :(
The snow metaphor was lost on Rosch when Raul brought it up. He didn't hear any of the speech other than the deafening cheers...
