123 undertale - horrifying memoryheads

Dear Readers,

Now to start exploring more of the True Lab.

There was a kind of lobby here at the end of the hallway. Some fake plants were here and a note that said "elevator... lost power..." and "enter the center door..." or at least, those were the parts I could make out.

The big door here had four colours on it and did nothing. The display next to it said POWER ROOM. There was also a vending maching that sold crisps. To the right was another big door that did nothing. It had some arrows on it.

The hallway continued left.

The sixth entry in Alphys' archives said Asgore asked everyone outside the city for monsters that had fallen down and their bodies came in. They were all comatose and were soon gonna turn into dust. She wondered what would happen if she injected "Determination" into them. If their souls persisted after they perished then maybe freedom would be closer than they all thought.

In the next room, the ninth entry... oh gosh, they're not ordered very well... in this entry Alphys said things weren't going well. None of the bodies turned into dust so she couldn't get the souls. She told the families that she would give them the dust back for the funerals. People were starting to ask her what was happening. She wondered what to do.

Poor Alphys... she had to deal with all this grisly stuff on her own :(

In this room were operating tables and they were sticky. At the end of the room were sinks. I was able to turn them on and everything. I turned on the right one and turned it off. Then I turned on the middle one and the music stopped. This huge white stuff dripped out and had a smiley face. Then it attacked!

Three horrifying nameless shapeless things appeared and the battle music was different. It sounded in tune with the area's creepiness and sounded a bit like that EarthBound creepy atmospheric whistling. They were going all static as well. They made wobbly smiley faces as their attack. I couldn't do much and my inventory was full. When I picked CELL I could hear voices through the phone. They said "Come join the fun" and suddenly they got names! They were called Memoryheads.

I tried JOIN and they said to hold still. I then REFUSEd and they said oh well and "Lorem Ipsum Docet", whatever that means. Some kind of Latin phrase or something. I was able to spare them then. Whew... they didn't sound determined, thankfully.

Seriously those things looked like heads with weird tails. Their faces looked like they had either loads of eyes or loads of mouths or both. Their tails looked a bit like the bodies of Chimaeras from Dragon Quest.

They left a red key after them. I took it and put it on my keychain.
