Dear Readers,
After sparing the horrifying Lemon Bread, I went through the door to the north. In here was a TV and some book shelves.
Alphys' fourth entry was here too. In it she wrote that she had been researching humans to see if she could find any info about our souls. She said she ended up snooping around the castle and found these weird tapes. She didn't feel that Asgore had watched them and she didn't think he should've either.
Must've been anime on those tapes.
On the left bookshelves were VHS tapes, mostly of some cartoons. They were alphabetised except for a few stray sticky ones. The right bookshelves had cartoon VHS tapes as well.
The badly written note on the ground had the words "under... sheets..." on it. Ah! The yellow key! I put that into the slot nearby and the switch turned on. I assume the door's yellow light from back along lit up as well.
I checked out the TV and was able to watch five tapes.
I watched the first one and it was a home movie of Toriel and Asgore! Toriel had the camera and asked Asgore what her favourite vegetable was. Asgore said carrots. She said no no no! and that her favourite vegetable was Eda-MOM-e. Oh man! Asgore just said to go back to bed. She said not yet and laughed a bit. She asked if she were a dog, what breed of dog would she be? Asgore said he didn't know and she said a MOMERANIAN! He actually laughed at this one and said she sure was excited to have this child. He said if she kept making jokes like that that she would become a famous MOMedian. She reacted by saying she was going to bed. Asgore was like come on! That was funny! She laughed and said she was just teasing. They said goodnight to each other. Then Toriel said it might be too dark for the video to come out.
That it was! The audio was perfect though! Good subtitling job too :)
And yeah what a nice home video. Looks like Toriel always had a love for jokes. No wonder she got on so well with Sans!
