Dear Readers,
The next stage was an autoscroller and took place on the rooftops of an urban setting.
The music here is quite cheery as well. It loops but it's a nice jolly tune!
Lots of spears shooting up. Some tricky platforming too, especially on one part where you have to activate a platform to move at the right time and blow up some blocks to drop onto it. Took a good few tries but I got past it.
The enemies here are a bit weird, They seem to inflate and just get in the way.
Not to worry about missing the key, it's at the end when the screen stops scrolling :)
The next level took place in a castle and had a much more serious tune. It was kinda like a Bowser castle stage with lava too. Had to switch to different bombs that made platforms in the lava.
To get the key I had to free up a platform that took me upwards. I then had to drop and keep to the far right in order to reach the key. No Bowser at the end though!
Then it was on to a snowy Round III, which led us further east on the map but also further away from Rome! Obelix commented on how the trail was getting colder, which is a nice pun, seeing how it was a nice snowy mountain level ahead! :)
