Dear Readers,
Now to rescue Getafix and go home to Gaul! The entire level is a chariot race.
It's not so much a race as it is an endurance trial. I had to outlast spikes coming from the ground and Romans trying to spear me from above. Good thing the horses can jump, chariot and all. Eat your heart out, Ben-Hur!
The theme played was a short looping mini-game challenge kind of thing.
Eventually I jumped from the chariot, Obelix joined and he rammed the wall, sending Getafix flying from his prison, to the amazement of Julius Cesar and the destruction of the Colosseum wall.
The game then ends with the standard banquet at the end of every Asterix story and a nice staff roll as well. It even has a "and you" at the end of the thanks section :)
It's a nice cheerful little game. Challenging and follows some rules, while also making up its own weird rules that make it fun and worth a look in general.
