I headed back to the leader, but he really wasn't able to help Yunobo and me. I would have to go in his stead.
At one point during all this, Yunobo's ancestor came up. He was Daruk, the champion I knew a hundred years ago. I didn't remember at first, but when his statue was shown to me, the memory flowed back very quickly and I got into a flashback, where Daruk was congratulating me on becoming the one to protect Princess Zelda. At one point some rocks fell down on us and he used the red shield thing to stop it. His descendant Yunobo has that power now.
With all that out of the way I headed up to the Eldin bridge and saved Yunobo from some moblins. After this, I used the nearby cannon to shoot him at the drawbridge, making it come down in front of us.
When we crossed, Vah Rudania released sentries that would set off an alarm and make it rain firebombs all over the place if they spotted us. I had to escort Yunobo from this point on.
We came up with a signal system where I would whistle to make him move and stop. We had to travel along a very narrow and treacherous trail, destroying sentries with bombs and using the cannons along the way to blast at Vah Rudania, making it crawl back into the mountain eventually. This all took quite a while and we had to fight very strong moblins on top of all that.
Eventually, we succeeded. We stood on the top of Death Mountain, looking at Vah Rudania below in the deep crater, lying on its belly. I glided down to it while Yunobo stayed.
When I got there, I heard Daruk's voice, just like I did with Mipha and Revali. Just like them, he instructed me to find the mapping point first. He has a really good voice.
However, I wanted to leave and prepare more for this place!
