Dear Readers,

It's Yahtzee! Or at least I think it's Yahtzee? Maybe Yahtzee is trademarked? I don't know for sure. I just remember playing a computer version of Yahtzee a long time ago and this seems like a throwback to it.

It's fun to roll dice and let the computer take care of the rules like I usually did with Yahtzee. I had one game of it and lost but it was fun trying to get matching numbers. I never did take it seriously.

I've played a version of this before on the Macintosh and I think it was called Masterguess. It had lovely sound effects. Actually I think I may be mixing it up with a game that has very similar gameplay. It took a long time for me to suss the game out.

Now that I play this version it's like I have to learn how to play this game all over again. I remember cues like something belonging but in the wrong place or something that needs to be swapped with a different thing. It's a nice throwback but of course doesn't have the same exciting sound effects. I only played one game of it so far and I didn't win.

Here's one that it feels like everyone knows! It's a nice way to play it too with its scribbling and affirmation sounds. I did the normal strategy of drawing just enough lines that I don't let the opponent get a chance to fill boxes. I could only do this so many times of course and I was lucky enough to get many boxes in a row that gave me a significant win.

I had never heard of this game at all before this collection came along. The beads make a pleasing sound and the hints make it fun to learn. I still don't have much of a feel for it yet. Without the hints I think I'd be very lost between all the holes and piles of beads to keep track of. I'd need a lot of practice before I'd play a real life version of this. I just played one game for now and I won nicely.

Just a nice miniature version of golf. Looks like it's taken inspiration from the NES Golf as well. I haven't played much of it yet but I think it's very nice and easy to get into.

Dear Readers,

I tend to really like air hockey video games and this one's really nice to play! It's got the fun sounds and you can play with controller or touch screen. Just very pleasant. I didn't play at high difficulty but I had fun!

Dear Readers,

I didn't play this properly but from the looks of things it seems like it's almost every bit like Wii Sports bowling! In fact, this compilation has tennis, golf, boxing and baseball as well, but in miniature or mechanical toy form. I daresay this collection is better than whatever sequel Wii Sports has on Switch.
