674 zelda breath of the wild - wooded area northeast of mount lanayru

Dear Readers,

From the last post I glided directly east, into a snowy place with trees. There I found a circle of stones. While looking for the missing stone I had to deal with wolves and plebbits. I smacked and crushed them all with my weapons and bombs.

The stone was pretty far away in the deep snow. Again, I'm thankful that it shows up in yellow when using Stasis. I put the stone in place to complete the circle of stones for another Korok seed.

673 zelda breath of the wild - second lump of ice behind spring of wisdom

Dear Readers,

From the last post about the lump of ice I looked northwest and spotted another lump of ice to melt. I glided over to it and got melting for another Korok seed.

While I was melting the ice it was nighttime. I heard and saw a Stalizalfos burst out out of the ground but it couldn't reach me so it burrowed into the ground again, the likes of which I never saw before. Did it have something to do with the Blood Moon I wonder?

672 zelda breath of the wild - lump of ice behind spring of wisdom

Dear Readers,

I warped back up to Mount Lanayru and climbed up behind the Spring of Wisdom. Just northwest of it was a lump of ice I had to melt down to get this Korok seed.

671 zelda breath of the wild - korok golfing at afromsia coast

Dear Readers,

I hiked north along Afromsia Coast until I ran out of beach. Then I went up along the rocks and continued further north until I came across three boulders. I pushed one of them down the hill in front of it and it landed near a hole. I then used Stasis to knock the boulder into the hole for another seed.

670 zelda breath of the wild - slab at afromsia beach

Dear Readers,

From the last post I glided all the way down to Afromsia Coast. At the very south end of this beach was a slab I was able to knock away with Stasis. There was a rock with Korok underneath for another seed.

669 zelda breath of the wild - nice chase at walnot mountain

Dear Readers,

Further south from the shield surfing puzzle from last time was Walnot Mountain. On one of the little peaks around here was a Korok sprout I had to chase from one peak to another until I got the Korok seed.

I got attacked by wolves and Lizalfos as well. I used my flameblade on the Lizalfos to make short work of it and I wiped out the entire wolf pack with arrows for being so annoying.

668 zelda breath of the wild - surfing down mount lanayru for a korok seed

Dear Readers,

Further south and east from the last post was a Korok platform. I had to go down the hill and reach the ring in time but this was the hardest one I've had to do yet. No matter how soon I started gliding I just couldn't reach the ring and I'd miss it by a hair.

I then decided to practise shield surfing and found a trail to the left that led all the way down to the Korok ring. It took a few tries and save reloads but when I got better at the surfing I reached the Korok ring handily!

667 zelda breath of the wild - lump of ice south of mount lanayru spring

Dear Readers,

I warped back to Mount Lanayru and headed directly south and glided down to a lone lump of ice. I equipped a great flame blade and stood next to it until it melted. There was a Korok hiding inside that gave me another seed.

666 zelda breath of the wild - korok platform at middle tree south of mount lanayru

Dear Readers,

I warped to the top of Mount Lanayru and glided south towards the three trees, specifically the middle one.

It had a Korok platform. I remember ignoring this in the very early part of my playthrough. I'm glad I did because it seems difficult enough. I had to glide towards the west tree and then I used Revali's Gale to gain height so I could go through the timed circle. I'm not sure if I'd be able to do this without the ability? Maybe if I climbed the west tree or something.

665 zelda breath of the wild - naydra snowfield's korok sprite

Dear Readers,

From the Peak of Awakening I glided all the way east to Naydra Snowfield. On the east side and up on a cliff ledge was a Korok sprite flitting around. I caught up with it for another Korok seed.

664 zelda breath of the wild - climbing the peak of awakening

Dear Readers,

From the last post I was at the bottom of a mountain I needed to climb for the next Korok seed so I just jump climbed all the way up to the top, taking little stamina rests. This mountain was called Peak of Awakening and at the peak was a stone with a Korok underneath.

663 zelda breath of the wild - annoying circle of flowers above nirvata lake

Dear Readers,

In the lake above the waterfall of Nirvata Lake was another circle of flowers to dive into.

Except this time I found it really hard to drop into the actual circle from the cliff above. There's a strong wind in this area and I missed the circle several times and I also had to reopen the paraglider so many times and I'd then end up with not enough height to make the Korok appear. I'd then have to go up the hill again every time.

It got very annoying but eventually after many trips back up the hill I finally made the Korok appear for another seed.

662 zelda breath of the wild - apple puzzle above nirvata lake

Dear Readers,

I swam up Nirvata Lake waterfall again to reach the cliffs at the top of it. On the east bank was a tree puzzle where I had to make the apple pattern match on the odd one out. I got it done for another Korok seed.

661 zelda breath of the wild - nirvata lake flowers

Dear Readers,

I went east to Nirvata Lake. There was a circle of flowers on it. I shot the Octorok and swam up the waterfall. Then I tried to aim for the circle of flowers. I got it on the second go for another Korok seed.

660 zelda breath of the wild - ovli plain korok on west side of big hole

Dear Readers,

I headed north from Hateno Village to Ovli Plain. I was in the mood to fight so I stirred the Stone Talus that was here just south of Nirvata Lake.

I was in no humour to climb around it so I just shot it with a load of bomb arrows. I blew its rocks off every time it picked up and I pelted its weak spot with more bomb arrows. I think I'm going to do it this way from now on.

As for the Korok, I headed west across the plain to some trees on the other side of the big hole that was here. I found a big tree with an acorn inside and shot it for another Korok seed.

659 zelda breath of the wild - climbing the big tree at zelkoa pond

Dear Readers,

I headed to Zelkoa Pond near Hateno Village. There's a huge tree on the north side of it with a Korok on top and I had no idea until now! All I had to do was climb up and lift the stone for it to give me another seed. Again, another place I walked past many times before!

658 zelda breath of the wild - diving into camphor pond

Dear Readers,

Just east of the area in the last post is Camphor Pond. It has a ring of flowers on it. It also has a very tall natural stone pillar next to it all convenient! I used Revali's Gale to get to the top and then dived into the circle of flowers for another Korok seed.

657 zelda breath of the wild - breaking the targets near hateno village

Dear Readers,

East of Hateno Tower is a place with some ruins, a house, a road that goes in a loop and several wooden targets erected around the place. I had to shoot and break all the targets, which made a balloon appear above the house. I then had to shoot the balloon to obtain another Korok seed.

I passed by this place many times on the way to Hateno Village. It doesn't even have a name. I'm glad I got to solve the main puzzle of this place. I didn't bother using a horse. I did beat up some moblins though.

656 zelda breath of the wild - apple tree puzzle south of hateno tower

Dear Readers,

I followed the road south from the last post and came to a little hill with a comfy little tunnel. On top of the hill was another apple tree puzzle. I made the apples match to make another Korok appear and give me another seed.

I also had to deal with a Yiga and a blue bokoblin. Didn't have much trouble getting them out of my way of doing puzzles.

655 zelda breath of the wild - shopping for arrows, tree south of hateno tower

Dear Readers,

I only had 10 normal arrows left. I wanted more. I went to my usual farming spot on the Plateau and only got 8 arrows. I went to the path that leads to Zora's Domain and didn't find a single regular arrow anymore. I decided to buy them from now on.

I find that they're cheapest in Tarrey Town now that I have it fully developed. I bought all the regular arrows so I've a decent stock now.

Anyway, back to the Korok hunt! I warped to Hateno Tower and glided south to the junction in the road. On the corner of it were some trees and the thick one had an acorn inside of it. I shot it for another Korok seed. I then picked up the arrow and put it back in my quiver. They're not cheap!

654 zelda breath of the wild - tree puzzle near loshlo harbour finally solved!

Dear Readers,

For a long time I've been worried about and trying to remember a Korok tree puzzle on a cliff overlooking Loshlo Harbour. I messed up the puzzle a few times and I had to leave it alone for the apples to grow back. I was worried I'd forget about it when I have most of the surrounding Koroks discovered. I went back there.

I took my time to slowly make the tree with all the apples to match the other two trees with just one apple each and I finally made the Korok appear! Hooray! Another seed! I'm glad to get this one out of the way!

653 zelda breath of the wild - top of the coliseum entrance

Dear Readers,

I went to the entrance of the Coliseum Ruins and used Revali's Gale to go all the way towards the top, climbing the rest of the way.

On the top floor and at the very end of the ledge was a stone with a Korok underneath. I picked it up for another seed.
