652 zelda breath of the wild - dead tree dash in front of the coliseum ruins

Dear Readers,

I went round to the front of the Coliseum and climbed a dead looking thick tree that was surrounded by goop. There was a Korok platform on top of it which gave me a timed challenge to run up a rock with a slope that was nearby and reach the top. It wasn't too bad at all and I got another Korok seed.

651 zelda breath of the wild - pond southeast of coliseum ruins

Dear Readers,

I went to the Coliseum Ruins to find the Koroks I missed there.

Southeast of the ruins and up the rocks was a ledge with a shallow pond. Flitting around this pond was a Korok sprite. I caught up with it for another seed.

650 zelda breath of the wild - chained ball and hollow tree east of batrea lake

Dear Readers,

After the last post with the jumping fences, I headed northwest to the edge of the woods with Spotty. Three little chuchus jumped out at us and I made short work of them.

I found a hollow tree with a metal rock hanging from a chain. I put it in the hollow with Magnesis for another Korok seed. Puzzles getting back to normal now.

649 zelda breath of the wild - fence jumping northwest of dueling peaks tower

Dear Readers,

Northwest of Dueling Peaks Tower were some ruins, a big tree and a puddle with a fence in the middle of it. There was a Korok to find here but I had no idea how to find it. Then I accidentally woke up a Stone Talus so I ran away and looked up more clues.

It turns out I have to bring a horse here to jump over the three fences! I've never come across a Korok puzzle like this before so I never would've guessed!

I came back here with Spotty and jumped the fences for another Korok seed.

648 zelda breath of the wild - flagpole west of dueling peaks

Dear Readers,

I warped to Dueling Peaks Tower and glided west towards a flagpole. It took a little bit of hiking too. When I got there I climbed to the top for another Korok seed.

647 zelda breath of the wild - hanging acorn at owlan bridge

Dear Readers,

I continued riding along the path through Batrea Lake until I got to the next bridge, Owlan Bridge. I found an acorn hanging from it that I shot for another Korok Seed.

After this I boarded Spotty at the Riverside Stable nearby.

646 zelda breath of the wild - in a thick tree near batrea lake

Dear Readers,

From Eagus Bridge, I continued south along the road, outrunning Bokoblins on horseback and into the forest around Batrea Lake. When I got off Spotty to look for the Korok, I spent most of the time smacking Octoroks and this place was crawling with them. I had to fight a Yiga as well.

One of the thick trees along this path had a stone on top of it that I lifted for another Korok seed. It took a few tries as there were many thick trees around here.

645 zelda breath of the wild - ruined cart under eagus bridge

Dear Readers,

I rode down south along the road to Eagus Bridge. I stopped and looked for hanging acorns but there wasn't any this time. Instead there was a ruined cart under the bridge with a stone on top of it. I lifted the stone to reveal another Korok seed.

644 zelda breath of the wild - under the rock at kakariko/wetland junction

Dear Readers,

It had been a while since I went horse riding. I took Spotty out and rode south along the road.

I stopped at the fork in the road where the left path leads to Kakariko Village. On this spot was a big tree and a big rock with a small stone underneath it. There were also some stone Plebbits I had to crush with a hammer before doing anything here.

When they were gone I used Stasis on the rock and knocked it away so I could pick up the stone underneath and find the Korok that was hiding here. I got another seed.

643 zelda breath of the wild - thorny patch near wetland stable

Dear Readers,

I warped back to the Wetland Stable again and went into the woods to the south. There I found a thorny patch with a stone in the middle of it. I burned the thorns with a fire arrow and picked up the stone for another Korok seed. I tried to burn them with a flameblade but they wouldn't burn with that alone.

I also had to deal with some Stalizalfos but they weren't much of a problem.

642 zelda breath of the wild - stone patterns at moor garrison ruins

Dear Readers,

From the last post I continued east until I found some ruins. These ruins had patterns of stones laid out in them. Two of these patterns seemed out of place so I removed a stone from one pattern that had too many and placed it to complete another pattern so they all matched. A Korok appeared and gave me another seed.

641 zelda breath of the wild - stone circle northeast of wetland stable

Dear Readers,

I warped to the Wetland Stable and headed northeast. I came across some trees that had a stone circle under them. The missing stone was very close by and I used that to complete the circle for another Korok seed.

I had some hassle with horseback Bokoblins so I shot them off their horses.

640 zelda breath of the wild - golfing puzzle at thims bridge

Dear Readers,

I returned to Thim's Bridge to finish the puzzle that I tried and failed to complete before! This time I wasn't going to throw the rock into the watery stone circle!

I calculated carefully what I needed to do with Stasis in order to knock a stone into the circle with trial and error. In the end I used a forked Lizal spear to hit a stone in there perfectly at last! I was so happy to get this done! It took three taps.

There was an Octorok far away in the river that was trying to shoot at me but it just couldn't reach. Nyah nyah!

639 zelda breath of the wild - lone tree balloon near crenel peak

Dear Readers,

From the last post I headed south to Orsedd Bridge. From there I followed the road east until I got to the junction. From there I continued in the same direction over the hill until I found a lone tree in between the hills. I shot the balloon hidden in its branches for another Korok seed.

638 zelda breath of the wild - korok sprite at crenel hills

Dear Readers,

From the last post I headed west down the hill towards the river with the two puddles nearby. I saw a sparkly Korok sprite and examined it for another Korok seed.

637 zelda breath of the wild - balloons in south crenel hills

Dear Readers,

I decided to beat up the Electric Wizzrobe that was prancing in the centre of Crenel Hills. I shot it to stun it and kept smacking it around until it was defeated. I kept my focus on it even when electric Chuchus were popping up out of the ground. When I was done with it I cleared them away too.

Crenel Hills belongs to me now.

I looked for the next Korok seed and found it to the south, where there was a pinwheel on a big hollow log. It brought up three balloons. Two of them I popped with a boomerang and the last one was inside the next log so I shot that with an arrow then to make the Korok appear.

636 zelda breath of the wild - tree west of the shrine in crenel hills

Dear Readers,

I'm still In Crenel Hills, trying to avoid the nasty Electric Wizzrobe in the centre. West of the shrine that's here is a giant tree trunk or ringfort or whatever it is that's full of Keese. I smacked them all with my spears and picked up their wings and eyeballs. There were a lot of them.

With them out of the way I climbed the slope to the bare tree at the top and climbed to the top of that to find a Korok for another seed.

635 zelda breath of the wild - hollow log stone in crenel hills

Dear Readers,

I headed southeast from the last post and went uphill until I came to a giant hollowed out log. Inside were Electric Keese and I smacked them out of the way. Further in the log was a stone with a Korok underneath.

634 zelda breath of the wild - pond across the river from hyrule forest park

Dear Readers,

From the last post I crossed the river to the east and went exploring there.

I found a pond on the map with flowers on it. It also had an Ice Wizzrobe. I hit it with one of my fire swords to make short work of it. It was then nice and peaceful to dive into the flowers and collect my Korok seed.

633 zelda breath of the wild - the ruined fountain in hyrule forest park

Dear Readers,

From the last post it was a very short walk along the path southwards to the next Korok seed. It was under a stone on top of an old ruined fountain.

After I collected it, another Guardian made a target on me. I immediately ran up to it and chopped its legs off. I did not stop attacking until I smashed it to bits. I didn't even try aiming for the eye this time. That was all the Guardians on the island destroyed now.

632 zelda breath of the wild - thick tree hole in hyrule forest park

Dear Readers,

From the last post I headed south along the road of the island, looking for a tree that would hold the next Korok seed.

I found it in the thickest tree, where I found a hole with an acorn in it. I shot that for another Korok seed.

631 zelda breath of the wild - northeast tip of hyrule forest park

Dear Readers,

I headed to the island east of Hyrule Castle as I knew I'd still have to deal with Guardians there while looking for Korok seeds.

The first thing I did was hunt down the Guardian near the bridge at the northern part of the island. I snuck up on it, chopped off its legs and made it blow up by deflecting with Daruk's Protection.

After that I sought the Korok seed at the northeast tip of the island. There was a metal puzzle here with the other blocks on the other side of the river. I shot the Octorok to get it out of the way and brought the metal block over. Then I slotted it into place for the Korok seed.

630 zelda breath of the wild - outside the castle docks under a stone

Dear Readers,

From the last post I glided northeast towards the docks. On the outside of the area there was a ledge with a stone on it. I picked up the stone for another Korok seed.

With that, I now had all the Korok seeds from within Hyrule Castle! I'm so relieved I have that over and done with!

I warped out of the castle and towards the Korok Forest to recover. I also upgraded with Hestu. I upgraded so much that I now had maximum slots in my inventory! I don't need to upgrade any more. Of course, Hestu did suggest I could find the remaining seeds anyway as the Koroks would be happy to see me. I will continue!

629 zelda breath of the wild - pinwheel on hyrule castle's west wall

Dear Readers,

I headed to the west and floated down to a wall that wrapped around the outside of the west part of Hyrule Castle. On the northern tip of this wall was a pinwheel.

It was just an archery challenge to hit some balloons that weren't moving too fast but there were a good few of them. I shot them all to earn another Korok seed.

628 zelda breath of the wild - the last bend on the way to the sanctum

Dear Readers,

South of the entrance to the Sanctum was the road leading up to it. On the last bend in the road before going up there I had to drop off and find a cracked pile of rocks just below it. It was easy enough to find without getting killed. I just had to dodge the Guardian lasers. The spot itself was sheltered nicely enough so I was able to blow up the rocks without having to worry about the lasers. I revealed a stone with a Korok underneath for another seed.

627 zelda breath of the wild - sanctum balcony korok challenge

Dear Readers,

When I was climbing to the belfry I came across a Korok platform that I thought I'd use on the way back down. When I stood on it I had to glide to one of the surrounding spires where the timed ring was. It wasn't far at all and I won another Korok seed for making it there in time.

626 zelda breath of the wild - the sanctum belfry

Dear Readers,

I headed towards the Sanctum and climbed climbed climbed up the outside of it. I was looking for the the belfry and I eventually reached it. I went inside, looked up at the bell and above it was a Korok balloon I was able to shoot for another seed.

625 zelda breath of the wild - the spire of zelda's study

Dear Readers,

I legged it from Zelda's room to Zelda's study. I went inside for a while, then back out to climb the building all the way to the spire at the top. I was very surprised I managed to do it without being spotted by Guardians. I found another Korok up on the spire.

624 zelda breath of the wild - zelda's balcony

Dear Readers,

From the last post I continued up the stairs until I could reach Zelda's room. There were so many Guardians up here, including one of the annoying flying ones. I had to destroy one or two. There was also a silver Moblin inside her room to make things more annoying. I found the way out to the balcony and lifted the stone to find another Korok seed. Then I legged it out of there.

623 zelda breath of the wild - the weird shaft near the west passage

Dear Readers,

I continued through the west passage of Hyrule Castle and came to a room that was just a huge vertical shaft. There were windows and ledges on the walls and it all looked very weird. There was a silver Moblin in here so I didn't stay on the ground for very long. I just climbed and climbed. On one ledge it had a stone and it had a Korok hiding underneath! This was the first Korok surprise I had in a long time without having to check a map!

I found a room with a lever that made air flow upwards from the bottom of the shaft. I used it to float upwards and go outside. My next stop was Zelda's study and there were some handy stairs that led there.
