719 zelda breath of the wild - metal puzzle south of tal tal peak

Dear Readers,

I glided off Tal Tal Peak southwards and kept an eye out for the next Korok target. I spotted a metal puzzle and dropped down to it to complete it with Magnesis.

I thought that I had to put the metal block on the wall part of the puzzle for a while but then I realised I had to put it on the part of the puzzle that was embedded in the ground. I placed it in the correct spot eventually and won another Korok seed.

718 zelda breath of the wild - tal tal peak's korok sprout

Dear Readers,

After the rock in the hole from the last post I started climbing Tal Tal Peak to chase a Korok sprout. I chased it all the way to the tip top of the peak for another Korok seed.

717 zelda breath of the wild - tal tal peaks metal rock

Dear Readers,

I swam up the waterfall north of Tal Tal Peaks and reached an area with a big metal rock on one side of the waterfall.

On the other side of the waterfall was a rock shaped hole. I didn't feel like doing any golfing so I just used Magnesis to carry the rock over and drop it in for another Korok seed.

716 zelda breath of the wild - knocking away the big rock below tal tal peaks waterfall

Dear Readers,

I still haven't reached the waterfall of Tal Tal Peaks yet. This time I went to the right side of the path where I found a big rock I had to knock away with Stasis to get at the Korok stone underneath. I lifted it for another seed.

I also found a chest with a good sword in it and I had to wear a Moblin mask because I didn't want to fight a Silver Moblin that was lurking around here.

With all that out of the way, I finally swam up the waterfall!

715 zelda breath of the wild - tallest tree near tal tal peak waterfall

Dear Readers,

After the last post I found myself in the Akkala region, but I wanted to focus on gathering all the Korok seeds in Zora's Domain area and its surrounding mountains for now, so I decided to make my way up the nearest waterfall.

However, there were seeds to collect on the way to the waterfall! I was aiming for the waterfall north of Tal Tal Peak. On my way there was a tree on the left side of the path. It was the tallest and thickest of a bunch of trees here. I climbed to the top and found another Korok seed in it.

714 zelda breath of the wild - secluded area at spool bight

Dear Readers,

From the last post I found myself with the need to climb even further up Ja'Abu Ridge until I got to the top. It wasn't easy as it was lashing rain for hours. I checked around for a good spot so I could use Revali's Gale for some of the climb.

I managed to find my way to the top of the ridge. I was trying to get to an area called Spool Bight on the map. There was a little green area where the sheer cliffs almost surrounded it next to Lanayru Sea on the east coast. I parachuted down into it to find a gang of Bokoblins and a Moblin with electric weapons!

I quickly put on my rubber gear and zapped them with one of my own electric weapons before kicking their butts one by one.

There were a few trees around here and a star fragment in the chest, but what I wanted was the Korok, which was under a pile of rocks on the cliff wall. It wasn't the easiest to see with the dreary weather but I got to blow them up for another Korok stone and seed.

I thought this area was completely secluded, but then I noticed a path that led all the way to the Akkala Region! Nice little discovery. I got here the hard way though!

713 zelda breath of the wild - climbing ja'abu ridge from lanayru bay

Dear Readers,

The metal puzzle from the last post provided some roof cover over my head while it was nighttime and pouring with rain. I set up a campfire and sat there until morning.

After that I changed into my climbing gear and went up the steep wall of Ja'Abu Ridge.

I kept climbing and climbing, stopping to rest occasionally, before climbing some more, going directly north.

Eventually I came to a platform with a pile of cracked rocks. I blew it up to reveal a Korok stone underneath. I lifted it for another seed.
