With Hellfire Chasm finished off, we pressed on to the next extra dungeon, Lifespring Grotto. For this we had to go back to the regular old sea ship and sail it towards Nerrick's canal, because it was inaccessible otherwise.
Our mermaid friend greeted us and was surprised to see that the door to the dungeon was now open. She also talked about meeting a man and falling in love.
Among the treasures we found in this dungeon were the Tiger Mask and Crystal Ring for Rocket, and Sage Surplices for Joseph and Chris.
This dungeon had 20 floors and we had to go through them twice as there was one choice between two bosses at the end per trip.
