Dear Readers,
Goodness me, I haven't played this game since the Pokémon Splatfest back in February! I felt like playing a few matches, but in a stealthy and pacifist way. I didn't splat anyone, but I got splatted quite a few times.
I had to download and install an update which took about about 7 minutes, but then I was ready to go. I also decided to buy all the weapons I hadn't bought yet, which came to a total of 19 weapons. I wanted to play something speedy and that used the Squid Beakon. I decided on the Octobrush for this session.
I also switched between the invert and normal settings on the controls now and again. It felt like I couldn't get used to either of them! That's what I get for playing games with no legacy control options!
So this is how my matches went. The rotation was Blackbelly Skatepark and Urchin Underpass.
Match 1:
Blackbelly Skatepark
Lost 10% to 90%
Didn't know the exact number but we lost pretty badly.
Match 2:
Blackbelly Skatepark
Lost 26.2 to 60.2
Match 3:
Urchin Underpass
Lost 25.5 to 62.0
Got splatted for the first time here. Taking more chances.
Match 4:
Urchin Underpass
Lost 39.7 to 49.3
Getting much closer!
Match 5:
Blackbelly Skatepark
Lost 19.1 to 66.7
Spoke too soon. Lost badly again
Match 6:
Urchin Underpass
Lost 31.9 to 54.5
Match 7:
Blackbelly Skatepark
Won 71.7 to 17.1
Finally a win! Though two people on the other team got disconnected.
Match 8:
Blackbelly Skatepark
Won 43.4 to 39.8
Very close and exciting match! I narrowly escaped an inkstrike too!
Match 9:
Blackbelly Skatepark
Won 51.7 to 38.1
Match 10:
Blackbelly Skatepark
Lost 35.3 to 49.0
Avoided another player's attack pretty well. They had an Octobrush too though.
Match 11:
Urchin Underpass
Lost 23.5 to 66.6
So that's it. 8 losses and 3 wins. Players aren't goofing around in this game anymore. There are a lot of really skilled ones out there!
