Dear Readers,
Now that we had the mythril, we headed back to Altair. It was great to finally have some material for new weapons and armour. The only problem was, we couldn't afford full sets!
We had enough to buy one Mythril Sword for each of us, but that was it for now. The blacksmith crafted the mythril equipment.
We also stopped at Salamand on the way back to see the townspeople safe and grateful to us for saving them. Very nice to see Josef's daughter Nelly returned home safe :) Not sure where Paul is though.
Hilda told us our next stop was in Bafsk so we went there. There we met Borghen ordering everyone around.
There was someone standing guard at the entrance to the Bafsk Cave, leading to the Dreadnought. After using some keywords, he got out of the way and we got into the cave. Good to have allies on the inside!
Around this time I also prepared by teaching Firion, Maria and Guy the various attacking spells like Fire, Blizzard and Thunder.
The music in the cave is the Imperial Army theme. It's a dramatic marching theme of the bad guys. Listening to it you can get the impression that they're on their way to do something dastardly and it's time to be worried!
We made our way through the cave until we came across the Dark Knight. He said it was too late and the Dreadnought was complete. When he ran off, Borghen showed up and laughed in our faces in a very Kefka like manner before following him.
Then this cutscene played out. It was of the Dreadnought starting its propellers and lifting off, leaving us to stand in that patch of grass surrounded by mountains. It was a cool looking scene and that thing was huge!
We headed back into the cave, towards a room on the right that had a treasure chest. Inside the chest was a pass to board the Dreadnought. Deeper into the room was a portal to warp us all out of Bafsk. It was time to follow the Dreadnought west.
