Let's have another go at this and see if we can beat Nebiros!
After a good amount of practice, I managed to get to the end of the second level and face Nebiros. I followed the strategy I sussed from the attract mode demo and that was to adjust to its firing pattern.
It starts by shooting a big group of lasers down the middle, then spreads two groups of lasers a little further apart, then a little further again and finally the furthest before shooting a big group down the middle again. I had to suss this pattern because it shoots very fast lasers that are almost unavoidable otherwise.
I eventually did destroy Nebiros and progressed to the third level! Yay!
