Dear Readers,
One of the floors in Whisperwind Cove is made up of a village of undead people, cursed by the Phantom Train from Final Fantasy VI.
They were all in bad shape and there were gravestones everywhere. The guard told us what was going on and asked us to save them, so he opened up the way to the Phantom Train.
It was so weird to face the Phantom Train as a boss here. It wasn't even moving so it seemed a lot less dangerous and scary. Rocket couldn't suplex the train either so it was even weirder!
It had an acid rain move but wasn't too difficult with a good healer like Joseph. Together with the usual hasting and attacking strategy, we defeated it.
Afterwards, we headed back to the village, which was now happy and lively! They opened up the way forward too, which was through the now unlocked inn. Yay!
