5 epic dumpster bear - first puzzle platform stage

Dear Readers,

Stage 1-A, called "Puzzle Crates", is the first puzzle platform stage and costs a few of the salmon coins I collected to play. It also uses the Wii U GamePad as well as regular platforming, so that means Log Games put in a decent bit of effort to make use of the hardware. Nice one :)

4 epic dumpster bear - bumping for red salmon coins

Dear Readers,

Stage 1-X is titled "Bumper Wall Jumps". I got here by finding the secret warp exit in stage 1-3! I like to imagine Dumpster Bear found a secret area by searching thoroughly in the dark, something that a regular laybearson would overlook and miss out on some secrets.

3 epic dumpster bear - towering into the night sky, first secret exit warp

Dear Readers,

Stage 1-3 is titled "Dumpster Dive". It takes place at night and features an alternative version of the first level's music, which is something I always think is pretty cool in games. It's more serious and dark in tone.

Dear Readers,

Now for stage 1-2, He who bears, wins. Similar to the first stage but with some new additions.

1 epic dumpster bear - initial play, gushing about classic game nods and fresh bear activity

Dear Readers,

Today I'll talk about starting this novel and highly enjoyable platformer that's like a cross between New Super Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong Country Returns, with a bit of the original Sonic The Hedgehog in there as well. I got it in a recent eShop sale!

1 ninzilla - playing a browser game while waiting for the nintendo switch

Dear Readers,

Played a browser game on Android today. It's inspired by this news story I read on GoNintendo about the Japanese Nintendo online store crashing, probably due to all the excitement of the new Switch console.
