I finally reached the 6 million coin milestone! My current strategy is working! I'm glad, as StreetPass has dried up a lot.
Trying to get 9,999 coins in the main levels on normal mode isn't easy and it involves a lot of milking and constant trips to get the coin flower from a Toad house.
On the other hand, multiple attempts to get this smaller milestone really helps to bank lots more coins for the total coin score! I'll try to keep going for as many levels as possible.
At the moment I've done W1-1 with 9,999 coins banked since settling on this strategy and now I'm concentrating on W1-2.
