Now for post-game content! We went back to the Earthgift Shrine. The dwarf still recommended against going in. I know we failed last time, but after defeating Chaos there was no stopping us!
We crawled through the different sections of the dungeon with the purple forest and endless desert, filling up new spots in the bestiary and eventually made it to an area with many different boss chambers.
The way this dungeon works is that you defeat a boss, the door becomes sealed by a mysterious force and you have to use the exit teleport and revisit the dungeon all over again. Four bosses here so we had to go through the same areas four times. One nice thing about this is that the treasure chests refill and some of them have items that increase statistics! I guess that's how you can grind in this game!
Come to think of it, I didn't need to grind in this game at all. Not so far anyway!
We found a Silver Apple, which increases maximum HP. Chris is the only one at this stage who isn't at the 999 HP cap, so I'll give all of these we find to him.
