Flash Point on Mega Drive has a pretty interesting history. According to segaretro.org, it comes from the SEGA Ages collection of Tetris and there is no other known version! It's a shame, because it has a goal oriented take on the typical Tetris gameplay that's reminiscent of Columns in Flash mode.

1 puyo puyo tetris demo - seeeeegaaaa! tetris!

I tried the demo for Puyo Puyo Tetris. Every time you finish a session, it goes back to the opening logos, where the characters take turns saying "SEGA!" and "Tetris!". I like this a lot :)

The game itself though? Really challenging!

Professor Asobin gave me a hot tool tip when the game was loading. You can kick a lot faster when you're in the air!

1 space invaders '91 - sega version, 16,110 points

I had a go of this recently. It's the Mega Drive version and not the arcade game of the same name.

Dear Readers,

Arcade oriented games really should have a good high scoring system and rankings. The "ending" could be to reach the top and you could have the staff names as the default table listings too! Everybody wins!

4 sonic the hedgehog - atgames version through tv

Played a full session of Sonic 1 with all emeralds again, but this time on one of those ATGames portable devices connected to a TV.

4 altered beast - skill setback

Played some more Altered Beast and was out of practice. Big setback in skills!

Did you know the European cover art for Luigi's Mansion 2 glows in the dark? Now you do! After owning the game for four years, my copy's cover has gotten kinda wrinkled and bumpy in the spots where it glows, but it still does glow though!

Bustin's makes ya feel good so I had another online co-op session of this game with Mop it up and NinSage!

It's been a long time since I played Luigi's Mansion 2 online but it's well worth coming back to! NinSage finally bought a copy of the game so now we can all play together! Yay!

5 terraria - filling more of the local map, online multiplayer with mop it up

Mop it up wanted to find more goodies and I needed to manage inventory. Busy times in NinTerraria!

1 ms. pac-man - april fool's special on google maps, scored 19,130 points

It's possible for nice things to come out of April Fool's Day. A pretend product can be announced for example and then so many people wish for it to be true that it ends up being made anyway. There you go! Marketing tactic!

This year, Google Maps had a Ms. Pac-Man icon you could click to adapt a street network into a dot munching maze. I gave it a go!
