Dear Readers,
Today I'll talk about this Mario 1 castle stage by my friend Mop it up. Thwomps... so many Thwomps!
There are indeed too many Thwomps on this stage even though it's in the name. So much stopping and waiting and other times there are dastardly hazards in the way when you try to rush it! It's a Mario 1 castle stage so the music makes you want to keep moving but it's so tough! Gotta resist the urge to drive on ahead!
The part right after the checkpoint was hellish! Three Thwomps in a row on a staircase! All that thinking I had to do! Argh! What I did was bait the second Thwomp just before the first one went all the way up, then went under both before jumping over the third one. Whew!
The part with the doughnut platforms was tough as well but you can just keep jumping forever to stay safe.
The Thwomps with the blocks underneath took serious chess master-like thinking to figure out but it's satisfying to pull off.
Even more satisfying are the ones beyond that that just fall into the lava. HAHA! Take that! It's a little too satisfying though. After being held up so much by the other Thwomps it's the kind of thing that would make you laugh maniacally.
That final rush before the end really had to be a rush. Outta the way Hammer Bro! Into the lava with ya!
So yeah, it felt a bit like being stuck in traffic at times but it felt pretty satisfying to get past and even watch Thwomps get their just desserts too.
