I collected 7,538 coins, my highest score yet for stage 1-1. Here's how I did it.
After shooting gold fireballs at the Goomba stacks at the end, I went back underground and out again to repeat the process as opposed to going above ground. I also did it as fast as I could, time allowing. Nice increase from last time!
