I eventually made it to this stage. Underground cave with purple blobs, big rattlesnake dragon things and that stubby beaky thing from Golden Axe.
I was stuck on this round for the longest time. Besides the enemies, the boss was this big plant thing with gross eyeballs floating out of it. My transformation this time was a flying dragon that could do an electric attack. Pretty cool and very handy on this stage, but I couldn't zap the eyeballs fast enough.
I then figured I had to get right up in the plant's face and do the electric attack in order to defeat it. Works extremely well! Very quickly too!
