293 night in the woods - i, god stevenson

Dear Readers,

Bea was too tired to do anything else so while she was at the food court, I went upstairs to check out the bad art.

I went up there and looked at the weird hanging rocks with glowy strings holding them up. I observed it, reading out Space IV: The Rocks Cosmic, an installation by Rorford Gimms, sponsored by Dollar Empire. Caution: Do not stand on the art.

I immediately disobeyed the sign and hopped up on the tacky art, bouncing on the cosmicky rocks. I climbed way up to a platform near the ceiling. Then the camera zoomed right out, showing the food court, Bea and the fountain below. While I was up here I found something very interesting!

The lights dimmed and the music changed to something like a funfair. I laughed maniacally! I now had control over the fish head fountain and could squirt water at people. Bea watched me do this and I had never seen her so happy! She laughed for joy, knowing full well it was me that was doing this! I drenched and freaked out a lot of people with my water squirting!

I then boomed out Bea's full name. She was still laughing but also worried that someone would call the cops! She said not to give out our names! I boomed out Beatrice Jones instead of Beatrice Santello this time :) Bea was like oh wow! Is that you, god? I boomed out that yes, it was I, God Stevenson! She said she didn't know I had a last name! I said silence, mortal! I then said through my fish monster I had lain waste to her kind!

Bea then said she wasn't gonna lie- that was pretty magical :)

I said silence! and that I shan't say it again! I told her that she and her good and noble companion shall get ice cream on the way home! She laughed and said we should probably get out of here before I got arrested! I said the cops shall be confused and stuff and beat each other up, for I was god and I hated the cops! Bea said to get back down and I told her to have a good one, mortal! I then ended my god routine.

This was a lovely scene :) I was showing Bea the truth about her childhood fascination and she appreciated it, but she was also about to bring me back down to earth.
